Hoover Dam on the way to Vegas

This past weekend Mark and I made a snap decision to go to Las Vegas for the weekend. We literally woke up on Friday morning, decided on Vegas, and left around 3 that afternoon. The drive was so long, but we had a good time. It was amazing to see Hoover Dam and all the reconstruction they are doing on it. They are building an overpass so you don't have to cross the Dam if you don't want to, but it looks so scary because it is so high up in the air.

It's so high up. I don't know if I'd make it across.

Of course Mark had to make "Dam" jokes the whole way across and the same on the way back. He thought he was hilarious.
