This morning we were able to babysit our nephew, Daniel, who is almost 18 months. He is so fun and easy-going. We just love him!
I can't believe we only have 6 weeks left!!!

new projects

I recently finished a few projects for the nursery. We had some empty shelf space to use, so I made a few things to take up the space.
My phone camera is awful so the picture doesn't do it justice. I got this project from my ward's Relief Society Super Saturday. It is a wooden block with some paper and a temple picture put onto it with modge podge and then vinyl lettering on top. I added the buttons to make it a little cuter.

This next one, I love! The colors turned out perfect for his room. It is the important ages in a boys life; 8-when you are baptized, 12-when you receive the priesthood, and 19-when you go on a mission. I wish I could say I came up with the idea on my own, but alas, I'm not that creative. I saw something similar at Deseret Book and changed it to how I liked it.

Temple progress

Last Sunday Mark and I went and took a picture in front of where the new Temple will be built in Gilbert. We thought it would be fun to have some before and after pictures to show the future kiddos.

Diaper bag

I just found this gem the other day at a boutique in Mesa. It seemed like a diaper bag was one of the hardest purchases to commit to. Luckily I found one that I love!

CA Baby Shower

My Aunt Kathie threw me a baby shower last weekend in California. It was tons of fun and we really enjoyed seeing all of my family.
The cake was decorated like the vinyl tree we just put up in the nursery.
We played a few games. Memory and the belly measuring game.
And gifts of course. We got some great things!
It was so much fun! Thanks again Aunt Kathie and everyone that helped out with the shower. We love you all!
