I love it when Mark surprises me with stuff. I usually get up really early for work and a few days ago I got up, got ready and came downstairs to find this...There were 3 cookie plates in my favorite color, green, cotton candy because I had been craving it the night before, beautiful flowers, a funny singing card and a movie about Mark and me was playing on the laptop. So cute. I have the best husband ever!

X-Box....blahhh!
So Mark really wants an x-box and I do not. He claims he wouldn't play it that much, but I disagree. When he gets the chance to play he goes into "the zone" and it is nearly impossible to get his attention, short of yelling in his face. He doesn't believe me on this, so here is a picture of the x-box zone face. He didn't even know I took the picture, even though I was sitting about 2 feet away from him.

Random Stuff
I have been bad about blogging lately, so this post will be pretty random with some of the things we've done lately.
Grandma's 85th Birthday
Baby Daniel...so cute!
Mark's 22nd birthday was on April 17th. I made him a cake at home and at night we went to Cafe Rio with his whole family for dinner and another cake, which was Indiana Jones. Of course we forgot the camera, so the only picture I have is of the cake.
My new favorite animal (or 2nd favorite because Elephant will always be my 1st) is the Owl. They are so cute. I was feeling pretty sad one night, so Mark and me went out to get me these cute bird pillows to make me happy.

We attended Brian Mortenson's wedding reception. We made it just in time for the bouquet and garter tosses. Here's a video (hard to see from the phone) of the boys running in a line before Brian throws Monica's garter. It was fun to see.
One day a few weeks ago we had our nieces, Khera and Julie over to hang out. I made them lunch of breadstick snails, which Khera refused to eat because I said they were snails, and PB&J rolls. I thought the snails were so cute.
Not too much happening with us. Just work for me and Mark on the job hunt again.

More Daniel
So since Mark and I haven't had any babies of our own yet, we will just have to settle for posting about Brandi's oh-so-cute baby boy. Isn't he sweet?! Mark told me that they noticed tonight that he has the one Gabriella ear that is different from the other.
Whenever my mom has Daniel, which has only been a few times so far, I make a little trip over to her house so I can steal him away and hold him the whole time. I figure, she will be watching him everyday soon, so I have to get in my time when I can.
